As a registered nurse and experienced entrepreneur, Melanie Womble understands the challenges of running a healthy, successful business and has applied her experience towards developing a high-performance organization that maintains confidentiality, accurate record keeping and a high standard of client service.
Melanie is actively involved in her community, supporting many nonprofit organizations such as the Flynn Home for Men and the recent opening of the Flynn Home for Women. She has served on numerous community boards over the years and has been actively involved in her communities Chamber of Commerce, receiving the chamber’s very first Small Business of the Year award. Melanie is also involved in several drug and alcohol industry associations, including being a founding member of the Substance Abuse Program Administrators Association (SAPAA).

PDSS is an accredited collection facility designated by the National Drug and Alcohol Screening Association (NDASA). This accreditation requires all PDSS personnel achieve Certified Professional Collector (CPC) status. PDSS also maintains a staff of Professional Certified Collector Trainers (CPCT).
PDSS also holds a certification for being Nationally Accredited for Administration of Drug and Alcohol Testing Programs (NAADATP). These certifications mean that the PDSS facility, operations, and staff meet the highest standards in regulatory compliance, company service standards, specimen handling, operational practices, business ethics, and facility equipment for drug and alcohol testing specimen collections.
